Please CLICK HERE for the new Adjournment Request Policy with regard to D.N.J., LBR 5071-1.

Effective immediately, adjournment requests for Confirmation Hearings, Motions, or 341 Meetings are to be filed with the Trustee’s office using the online document filing system at www.bkdocs.us.

FOR CONFIRMATIONS & MOTIONS:  CLICK HERE to download the Adjournment Request Form from the court’s website

FOR 341 ADJOURNMENTS: CLICK HERE to download the form from the Trustee’s website

Filing instructions:

1. Download and complete the form (enter ALL information including the date to which you would like the matter adjourned)

2. Save it as a PDF file

3. Go to www.bkdocs.us to upload the completed form to the Trustee’s office (you must sign up for access if you have not already done so) — BE SURE YOU SELECT THE CORRECT DOCUMENT TYPE

FOR CONFIRMATIONS AND MOTIONS:  A Determination of Adjournment Request will be docketed on CM/ECF indicating whether or not the hearing was adjourned.  If the request was granted, the new date and time will also be docketed.  This may be different from the date requested.   If the request was denied, the reason for denial will be docketed.

IF A DETERMINATION OF ADJOURNMENT REQUEST IS NOT DOCKETED, YOU MUST APPEAR AT THE HEARING.

FOR 341 MEETINGS:  If your request was granted, you will get a notice from CM/ECF indicating the new date and time. Denied requests will be posted on the Trustee’s Calendar Disposition List with the reason for denial.
